SMALL AND LARGE SITE PLANS

Vero Beach Club and HotelVero Beach Club and Hotel - Vero Beach, FL
Our work on this project consisted of engineering redesign due to extensive hurricane damage and a major addition to the hotel seaward of the Coastal Construction Control Line. This work was completed in 2009. 

Walgreens Vero Beach  Walgreens - Vero Beach, FL
  KMA was responsible for the rezoning, site plan and plat       approval process for the Walgreens pharmacy and the         
  necessary commercial subdivision.  In addition to the          
  standard planning, paving, grading, and drainage design   
  for the site plan, our work also included a significant         
  offsite water main extension and design, permitting, and 
  construction of an FDOT turn lane on US1.



CONSUMPTIVE USE PERMITTING

KMA has worked with a number of golf courses and Homeowner's Associations, including John's Island, Redstick, and Orchid, to renew their Water Management Permits and acquire allocations that are acceptable to both the District and to our clients.  We are experienced in GWRAPPS and AFSIRS software programs for calculating allocations as well as emerging technologies for reduced water demands.


MASTER PLANS/MIXED USE COMMUNITIES

Preserve at FellsmerePreserve at Fellsmere - Fellsmere, FL
This planned development project was recently approved by City Council for commercial, mixed use, and residential development.  We worked with the clients through the annexation process into the City of Fellsmere, PD approval, developer's agreements with the County and City, and all other aspects of permitting and design.  We serve as the project manager for the consulting team and are involved in a 1000 acre off-site wetland and upland mitigation design for substantial on-site project wetland impacts.

Pioneer TrailsPioneer Trails, New Smyrna Beach, FL
This is a proposed mixed use community on 840 acres, of which half will be actively fire-managed and placed under a perpetual conservation easement.  Our firm serves as the project coordinator for the consulting team, which includes engineers, planners, attorneys, and environmental
                                  consultants. 

 


ENVIRONMENTAL PLANNING

GreenwayIndian River Land Trust Greenway Plan
KMA is working with the Indian River Land Trust to provide a greenway for public access to pristine Indian River Lagoon frontage property.
